Meet your Coach:
Angela House, LCSW-C, RMT
Origins & Qualifications
I’m originally from Colombia, South America, but I’ve resided in the US for the last 33 years. I’m fluent in both, English and Spanish, which helps me work and communicate with people in both languages.
I am a Reiki-Master Teacher and Ordained Minister. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Social Work. I also hold certifications in Energy Healing, Happiness Coaching, Anger Management, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Integrative Nutrition for Mental Health.
I have been practicing Reiki and Energy Healing since 2002, and now I combine energy work with coaching and psychotherapy principles to help people advance in their personal and spiritual growth. My job title is Behavioral Health Co-director of a community health clinic, and I am a therapist, and a holistic empowerment coach.
I work with people from diverse ethnic and socio economic backgrounds and while doing so, I started noticing that, no matter the reason why people were seeking therapy or coaching, most of them wanted the same thing: To have a better human experience.
This is how I started doing my own, and very informal, research on what works and what doesn’t. By trial and error, I developed a program in which I use well-known concepts in a different way. I decided to call it ATICA (All-There-Is Conscious Awareness), and by using these principles, I help people transform their lives.
My Methodology & Style
My methodology is very eclectic and our sessions will be tailored specifically for you. I view healing from a holistic point of view: Mind, Body, & Spirit.
I incorporate my professional expertise, life experience, intuition, and higher self during sessions to help you identify your need for change, embrace your strengths, and open your mind to how change your perception so you can take intentional action (empowerment).
During each coaching session, I will provide you with long-distance Reiki healing, while we discuss ways you can actively reconnect to your potential (higher-self).
In therapy, I specialize in helping people overcome trauma and abuse, giving them tools to survive.
In coaching, I specialize in helping people find a sense of purpose and connect to the God/Spirit/Universe energy, giving them the tools to thrive & evolve.
My coaching style is direct and gentle, combined with sense of humor and spirituality.
I help people break free from their old ways of thinking, incorporate new perspectives, and create positive change in their lives. Through my own journey, I’ve understood that our perspective shapes our reality, and I’ve found ways to help people shift their mindset, and open up to new possibilities and success.
One of my strengths lies in my ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to explore their inner world. I know that change can be difficult, so I approach my coaching sessions with empathy and understanding, utilizing all the resources under my scope of practice that are available to us.
In addition to energy healing techniques, I use mindfulness techniques, psychotherapy interventions and positive psychology skills. I also use affirmations, the law of attraction, neurobiology, philosophy, subconscious work, and Logo therapy (V. Frankl).
I believe that action is the catalyst for change. I support my clients in creating meaningful action plans and self-care routines that align with their desired outcomes. I assist clients in understanding that in order to achieve results, a change in perspective must be accompanied by tangible steps towards transformation. I help clients set achievable goals while holding them accountable as they take decisive action to create the changes they seek in their personal, professional, and spiritual lives.
I feel blessed to be fulfilling my life’s purpose of being a light worker. I feel great satisfaction from seeing people embark on their journey of self-discovery, spiritual growth, and empowerment.
The biggest success my clients report experiencing is being able to learn how to challenge their old ways of thinking while understanding that life-changing events are not always bad, even if they are unpleasant. Life will never be perfect, so we need to stop chasing happiness and start reconnecting to our spiritual selves.
Now is the time to focus on growth and incorporate intentional actions to create the life you want… If you don’t know how to do it, I am here to walk with you in your journey.
Like my dad used to say: “Work hard to become the person you were always meant to be”.
I hope to hear from you soon!
Blessings & Love,
Angela
